Fantasy Rugby

Fantasy Rugby is the online version of Rugby Union. It gives rugby fans the opportunity to participate in what is happening on the field by having their own online team. Fantasy Rugby works much the same way as other fantasy sports, such as fantasy baseball or fantasy football. Participants buy their own virtual team of real players. Based on the actual player's performance that week their players accumulate scores that go towards the online participant's total score for that week. Players can be bought or sold, but often the amount of trades is limited. Online fantasy rugby participants usually play against their friends or colleagues in conferences.
